Hainsworth heavy wool officer jacket with side closing, large front front and sheepskin collar.

Crafted from durable cavalry twill, the coat is made from 100% merino wool produced by the renowned British mill Hainsworth, which also supplies wool for the King’s Guard uniforms. The dense, heavyweight fabric provides exceptional warmth and protection, helping to shield you from wind, rain, and harsh weather conditions.

The collar is made from silke soft, curly Gotland sheepskin from skin-dressing company Tranås in Sweden, and the toggles are made from raw oiled wood.

Care

Care: wool has excellent self-cleaning and dirt-repellent qualities due to its natural oil content. We recommend airing your garment to refresh it and removing any marks using our garment brush. Dry clean or place or place in freezer if moths are a concern.

Storage: We recommend that you keep your garment on a hanger when not in use to avoid creasing and to prolog its life. Hang up to dry naturally when wet away from a heat source.
